I don’t get on social media very often, but when I do it’s usually Twitter. Recently, I stumbled onto Facebook and found a post from Taki Moore about “day 1.” He shared, “There is nothing more powerful than someone who’s admitted what they want.” This is such a profound statement, and I want to unpack it with you.

Be Honest
I believe that my journey may not always be that of my client’s or listener’s. However, I think many of us are not completely honest about what we want in life or business. If we are honest with ourselves, most of us don’t share that want with others.

Why?
I have thinking time every week in my business to identify wants, trajectories, new systems, etc. However, I thought that it was a good idea for months before I actually implemented “thinking time.” Why do I share this?

Identify and Share
I want to know when the first time was that you shared what you wanted with yourself or someone else? This week, I want to encourage you to write down or record in some what what you actually want. I use Notion to record all my thoughts, especially around business.
Then, identify someone who you can honestly tell what you actually want. Most business owners don’t have this kind of outlet, so they will say things in a way that they think others want to hear. Unfortunately, that usually takes away what they really want.

Take Action
So tell me, what do you actually want? Hit reply, or tell a trusted colleague or business mentor. Getting it out there will take you further than you realize.
