When I was graduating college, I wanted to go straight into getting my MBA. I applied to handful of schools, even Harvard, with the idea that I could start this degree immediately. I was wrong. All of them rejected me, saying they were looking for a few years of work experience before admitting students into an MBA program. As a 40 year old business owner, I now understand why. I would even be interested in some of the executive MBA programs out there for both the education and the community of fellow business people. But I don’t have that kind of time, so I have invested in coaching instead.
